Helena has worked in financial services for over three decades, originally as a fixed income portfolio manager. She was CEO of Newton Investment Management for 15 years, Chair of the Investment Association from 2014-17 and in 2021 was appointed a non-executive director before becoming Chair of FTSE250 firm AJ Bell. Helena is a Fellow (Governor) at Eton College, where she also chairs the Endowment Committee. She serves on the board of McKinsey Investment Office.

Helena is well known for her work on inclusion and diversity. In 2010, she founded the 30% Club, a campaign for better gender-balanced boards. Since then, the representation of women on FTSE350 boards has risen from less than 10% to almost 40%. There are now twenty 30% Clubs throughout the world. Helena chairs the Diversity Project, aimed at improving diversity across all dimensions in the investment industry.

Helena entered the House of Lords in September 2020 and was appointed a Dame in 2017 for her work on improving diversity in financial services. She was named one of the 25 most influential City figures over the past quarter of a century by Financial News (2022).

Daniel joined CVC in 2009 and is currently serving as Senior Managing Director, US Head of Financial Services and Co-Head of Business Services at CVC. Daniel leads CVC's private equity activities in US financial services, co-leads CVC's private equity activities in US business services and is based in New York. Prior to joining CVC, Daniel worked at DLJ Merchant Banking Partners and Credit Suisse in the investment banking division covering financial institutions. Daniel holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dan Kilpatrick joined Crestview in 2009 and is a partner. He is also a member of the Investment Committee and head of the financial services strategy. Dan is currently a member of the boards of directors of AutoLenders, Congruex, DARAG Group, Fidelis Insurance, Protect My Car, WOW! and Venerable Holdings. He was previously on the boards of Accuride Corporation, Camping World Holdings, ICM Partners, Industrial Media, NYDJ Apparel and Symbion. Dan received an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Yale University.

Dana joined Pine Brook in June 2020 and is a partner on the financial services investment team. Dana is a member of the Investment Committee and also represents Pine Brook as a board director of Amedeo Capital Limited, Belmont Green Limited, Fair Square Financial Holdings LLC and Talcott Resolution.

Dana has over 20 years of private equity investment and management experience. Prior to joining Pine Brook, he was a managing director and head of the North American financial institutions investment banking groups at Bankers Trust, Alex Brown, and Deutsche Bank. Dana also served as a partner of several entrepreneurial investment businesses and private equity funds focused in financial services, where he worked closely with the portfolio companies. These businesses included Brera Capital Partners and Colonnade Financial Group, a spin out from Deutsche Bank created to manage a private equity portfolio.

Dana holds a B.S. in Commerce and Accounting from Washington & Lee University and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School. He also serves as a director of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and as Chairman of the Board of the Myeloma Investment Fund.

Cathy is Vice President of Investments at the St David’s Foundation, a charitable foundation dedicated to providing and supporting non‐profit health related programmes in the US, including the largest scholarship program in Texas for aspiring health professionals, and the largest mobile dental program in the country. Cathy joined the St David’s Foundation in December 2015. Prior to her role at the Foundation, Cathy was UTIMCO’s (University of Texas Investment Management Company) President and Deputy CIO retiring in August of 2014. At UTIMCO she was responsible for investment oversight of $30 billion in investment assets in addition to the management of public equity, fixed income and hedge fund investments. Her employment with the organisation dates back to April of 1991 when she joined the U.T. System Office of Asset Management, the predecessor to UTIMCO. Previous to joining U.T. System, Cathy practiced in the area of public accounting for 15 years. She has a B.Sc. degree in accounting and is a CPA.

Hinal continues his role in 2023 at Fidelis MGU. Hinal joined Fidelis Insurance in 2015. Prior to that he was the Bermuda Chief Actuary at Catlin. After graduating from the London School of Economics, Hinal began his career at actuarial consultancy Bacon & Woodrow. He went on to work for Mercer, before joining Catlin in the London office in October 2003, with responsibility for providing actuarial support to the Reinsurance business group. His role expanded in 2009 to oversee the actuarial support for the short tail classes of business in the UK. He was appointed Chief Actuary for Catlin Bermuda in 2011. Within that role, Hinal oversaw the actuarial, catastrophe modelling and capital functions for the Bermuda entity. Hinal is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and a member of the Executive Committee.

Charles was appointed as non-executive director to the Board in May 2023. Charles is a director of Conyers Dill & Pearman (“Conyers”) and works in the corporate department of the Bermuda office and is Head of the Bermuda Insurance Practice. Charles joined Conyers in 1990 and became a partner in 1998. Charles specializes in insurance and reinsurance, advising on corporate and regulatory matters. Charles holds a Bachelor of Laws from University College London and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.

Dan joined Fidelis Insurance in 2015. Prior to this he was co-CEO of AonBenfield’s Global ReSpeciality (GRS) division from 2013 until 2015. Specialising in non-marine retrocession and the aviation, marine and energy sectors, among others, he supported all of AonBenfield’s business hubs across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was Deputy CEO of the GRS division from 2008 until 2013. He began his career as a non-marine property broker at Greig Fester in the 1980s, later joining the retrocession team and then leading that team following a merger with Benfield in 1997.

Allan is the Chief Financial Officer of FIHL and the Chief Executive Officer of FIBL. Prior to assuming these executive positions, Mr. Decleir was a consultant to FIBL since June 1, 2022. He has over 26 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry. Since June 2015, Mr. Decleir has been an independent consultant for ThreeSeas Consulting Ltd, providing management consulting services in the Bermuda (re)insurance market. Mr. Decleir was also a Listings Manager at the Canadian Securities Exchange from February 2019 until March 2022. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Platinum Underwriters Holdings, Ltd. (“Platinum”) from June 2010 until March 2015, overseeing SEC, financial and regulatory reporting. He first joined Platinum’s Class 4 reinsurance subsidiary, Platinum Underwriters Bermuda, Ltd., in 2003, and, from 2005 until his promotion to Platinum’s Group CFO, served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Platinum Bermuda, Mr. Decleir was the Chief Financial Officer of Stockton Reinsurance Limited from June 1996 to May 2003. He began his career at Ernst & Young in 1988, taking on various positions in Canada and Bermuda. Mr. Decleir was granted a National Association of Corporate Directors governance fellowship in 2017 and achieved the “Directorship Certified” designation in 2022, and earned the Associate in Reinsurance designation from the Insurance Institute of America in 2000. Mr. Decleir holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant).
