Dan is a market veteran of 35 years having joined Fidelis Insurance as UK CEO, CUO, and founding member in 2015 before being promoted to Group Managing Director. Dan was also a member of the Fidelis Insurance Executive team and a director of the FIHL Board. He was instrumental in helping to build out the Fidelis Underwriting portfolio through his market connections. Before joining Fidelis, Dan spent his career in the Broking sector having held many senior posts including the head of Global Retrocession at the Benfield group and CEO of Aon's Global Specialty division in 2008. His career has seen him work closely with many of the worlds leading global entities specializing in areas such as non-marine retrocession, aviation, marine, energy, and much more. Dan was also a member of the Benfield Footprint Management program and is an alumni of the Chicago Booth University Aon sponsored Pinnacle program.
